Her estimated age is 10+ years. She is deaf (not known if congenital) and does not have a thyroid problem, which was reported as a possibility in the original blurb. She does have a heart murmur. She would do very well with an older person, as she is very affectionate and would be a great lap kitty.
She came to the shelter because Animal Control caught several young kids beating her with sticks and they took her to the no kill, so she has been badly abused. Nevertheless, she is affectionate and really needs a special guardian angel.
