Guys, do you know anyone that can foster/adopt/intake Cruiser? He is a super friendly pit bull in the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter.
He's still there.. we are watching closely to make sure he isn't in danger of being put down. We have no place for him to go right now, so it is day to day - he is about 1 year old.. very, very sweet loveable boy! Neutered, up to date on all his shots... I fell in love with his sky blue eyes!!!! Found out after I met him that he has a hearing disability. Hard to tell, but he's very friendly. Special needs dog... going to need patience and love!!! He should be the only dog. We have had him out with other dogs, some he likes, some he doesn't... Our trainer has been working with him... he's been there too long. Someone help!

ReplyDeleteCrusier was rescued from Town of Hempstead and is safe at Pancake Hollow Farms in Highland, NY. The rescue went beautifully, I drove him part of the way myself and he was wonderful in the car. Updates from Pancake Hollow over the last week have all been positive. He's going to find his forever home. Also, vet says it may be scarring in his ears, have to folow up & see if it can be reversed!! Anyone with questions can email me at dabandolo@aol.com !!
