Washington, DC: Deaf Cat Needs a Home

Woodley has orange stripes and a lion's face. He is a deaf cat who is very laid back and extremely funny. He is also loving, affectionate and loves curling up in laps and next to you at nap time. He is about 4 years old, very social and great with other cats and children. He has been wonderful and patient with our 2 1/2 year old daughter since she was born, enduring much solicited and unsolicited affection. He sometimes thinks he's a person and likes to sit in a chair at the table and also joins the stuffed animals at our daughter's tea parties. We sometimes have dance parties after dinner and Woodley always joins in by laying in front of the ipod speakers to feel the vibrations. He is an indoor cat but could spend time outdoors in the right, safe location (he thrives on his limited "hunting" time in our fenced back yard). If you are interested in providing a happy, loving home for Woodley, please contact Ashley Gibbs at (removed).

Washington, DC: Deaf Kitten

Skittles was brought into the Homeward Trails Animal Rescue program over the weekend. He is a delightful boy who LOVES to play and interact with other animals. He is super friendly with people and will just cuddle in your arms and purr away when you hold him. He is just about perfect in every way.

We believe that Skittles is deaf. He is a little skittish at times and we do think he would do best in an adult home or a home with older children. He definitely needs to be in a home with other animals as he really enjoys engaging with cats and dogs.

Skittles is scheduled to be neuter early next week. He is current on his vaccines and tested FIV& FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $100.00. We think he is about 6 months old. Please contact Nancy Lumb at thebubies@mac.com or nancy.lumb@intelsat.com for further information.
