Deaf Blind Terrier Puppy in CA


Here's a little guy at a high kill shelter who appears to be blind and is very likely deaf as well..

I have been at the shelter since May 26, 2009.

  1. I double checked on this guy and spoke directly with someone in charge at the shelter. They told me he's not deaf or blind. Apparently he had just suffered a cornal abrasion (horribly painful!!!!), but that he did appear to be recovering and should have no vision problems. Since he is young and has no special needs I think he should be adoptable. Thank you!

  2. In fact, I just looked and I think he was adopted. I can't find him at the shelter there. :)

    I got a crosspost about this dog and checked the site where I see the same dog and it also confirmed that the dog is blind/deaf. After reading your comment, I went back to the site and the post on this dog disappeared. Not sure why the email has been crossposted in the first place with the information that this dog is blind and likely deaf.

    This dog is all white with blue eyes that often are known to be deaf although not always.
