Deaf Cat in VA Seeks Adoptive Home

Sonya is a gorgeous odd eye solid white cat who is about 2 years old. She is completely deaf but what a great personality. She was surrendered to a shelter in Virginia because her owner became ill. A shelter with too many nice cats and too few adoptions. Poor Sonya ran out of time and the shelter staff asked Fancy Cats to help her! She will make a wonderful companion to some lucky someone! Not quite ready to adopt but would like to foster a cat or kitten? Email luvurcat4life@gmail.com or call 703-961-1056 to find out how you can help. Ask for Catherine Awad.

  2. Hi Stephanie!

I would love to help you but the deaf cat is not with deafanimals.org. I would encourage you to contact them at info@fancycats.org. I can't speak for them but some rescues would consider having a cat transported if one passes the application with flying colors. Thanks for giving some thought to adopting one of deaf animals!
